Amazon Hello All, currently I work as a L4 in Amazon and got selected for a L5 Program Manager (Non-Tech) role in a different team. Have an experience of 7+ years with a current CTC of 12LPA (excluding RSUs). What should be an ideal CTC for my new role and would it be negotiable? Any suggestions?

If they are saying the offer is contingent on you relocating then I would push hard for a relo package or sign on. If fidelity won’t cover it, see if ranstad will give you some of their fee they are making on your placement as a relo package. Otherwise volunteer working EST hours from CA and see if you can be remote. Hard sell for me to up root my life for a job. Even if it pays better than what you’re at now, think about quality of life in a new city. Not knowing anyone to spend your money with going out or to dinners would weigh a lot for me personally. I would rather make less money and have friends to hang out with and do things with than money and no where to spend it on experiences. Just my 5 cents
To Ranstad? Not Fidelity? I would stay put. There’s no commitment from the client and ranstad is a staffing company. If fidelity say they don’t need you or even like you. Ranstad can thank you for your time and you just moved cross country deployed as a pawn for Ranstad. Staffing companies see billing revenue from their folks rather than “w2 employees”.
145k is still good money for NC, though.
How much you getting now? So this is a contractor job? I wouldn’t relocate for a contractor job. Contractor is the first to let go if there is a layoff.

Even if the offer was great AND I already wanted to move to where they want me to be independent of the job, I would never accept an unpaid relocation for a contract job unless they agreed to reimburse my relocation expenses if they ended my contract early.

145k isn’t a good deal. NC cost of living has been rising lately.
