Last update which I get from them that they are waiting to get approvals from business end then HR will reach to me for discussion

Is it normal to wait they take this much time normally or either I need to look for other opportunity?

I'm currently an account manager in an agency. I've been there for 20 years (26 years experience total). My goal has always been to learn all I could and then transition into underwriting. I’m not old BUT when I was younger I thought it was important to have all the alphabets after my name (I.e. Phr, SHRM and all the others).
