Who here thinks consulting slides are a lot of bs? I come from a technical role in industry, and it certainly feels that way.
Hey guys I'm new here! I'm looking for a l fully remote opportunity here in Atlanta in an HR role. Any leads?
Time in role until promotion. How long does it normally take to be promoted from a consultant to Manager assuming you came into the consultant role as an experienced hire.
Hi fishes, when looking for exit opportunities, which companies are you targeting for? Looking for good companies to apply for if I plan to leave EY.
Please refer me if you find any opening for MS SQL DBA/Azure SQL DBA in Nagarro . I am able to join in a month.
Have you ever considered taking a different role than what you usually would because you’re planning on getting pregnant?
Does anyone regret not getting an mba? For context, spent 2 years in T2 consulting out of undergrad, and left for a PM role at a unicorn. Comp is ~180k, with significant upside post IPO. I want to stay and vest my options, and potentially jump to other tech companies in a product function, but parents are asking me to think about an MBA. Will I need it down the line / regret not going back to school?
Scored an exit finally! Currently Senior, Tech Consulting, 2 Yrs YOE, 115k TC. Exit to Coinbase, Senior Program Manager, L6, $271k TC, $90k Stocks, one year vesting For those looking to leave consulting, I know it's hard at times, but hang in there and the opportunity will show itself! Feel free to to DM if I can help in any way :)
Received an offer far below what the recruiter said was the target salary, and even below what the recruiter said was the floor… how to respond? The role is internal (with a subsidiary), and I am having a tough time coming up with a scenario where I don’t take it because even below what the recruiter said, it’s a level above my current role.
An Accenture recruiter just reached out via LinkedIn to discuss a Salesforce Functional Lead role they are trying to fill. He said the comp budget is up to 240k, which seems really high for this type of role. Wondering if anyone at Accenture has insight on if this is realistic, or if this guy might just be throwing a high number to get me to apply.
On a call, I was pitching an idea for our client to the NFL. I invite a junior designer to tag along. I’m two slides in, mid-sentence, and he runs out of the room frantically opening the door...
How much were you making at your first agency job? How much did your pay increase after a year? Trying to make a plan for paying off student loans
Anyone know of opportunities in Miami for a Sr. Marketing Manger role? Looking to potentially switch shops. Agency/non-agency OK. I’m open.
Hi Everyone, Hoping you all are doing Great. I was hoping if you guys can reffer me to the open position in CGI Job id- J0221-0084 - Business Support Function - Product PMO Thanks and Regards, Anand
New one here wanting to start taking control of my finances. Cleared $100K in student loans by 28. Got a new role with annual salary of $145K now. Next year I’ll be getting married and we’ll be pulling jointly over 260K +. Restricting my Roth contribution. I currently have a 401K (48K balance) and a brokerage (26K balance). I just opened up a Roth although I think this year would be the only year I can contribute 6K into it. Where else should I spread my money long term?
When a previous classmate LinkedIn messages you about work/if I wanted to grab a coffee and I know he is going to ask for a job referral but he was a shit student, what do I do? No response? Say no??
Hello fishes ! About to be offered a position at Deloitte London as SC. Exp : ~9. Visa sponsorship is needed. I foresee a possible negotiation on compensation from Deloitte. Not sure of the estimate yet but I understand it would be 55-60k as per other fishes . Should I settle for a lower comp while employer pays one time sponsorship & migration costs or bear the migration costs self and chase a good salary . Which is better ? Note : moving to UK with spouse and kid
How different are MLOps/Machine learning endineer interviews from the standard software development role interviews? Would both of them involve the same amount of leetcode/DS/Algo questions?

How great is it to go back to college campus for the start of Fall interviews... this time as an interviewer! 😀 This is going to be fun.
I have a coworker on a project who is not contributing their fair share... I'm afraid I'm already viewed as too aggressive in the group so I haven’t been vocal about it. I think I may stay silent.
Wish I were staffed on a project in a city known for clubbing and other debauchery. Vegas, New York, New Orleans…
On the bench and anxious! Does everyone have a project lined up immediately after a project ends even if that project weren't the top choice?
When I hit the hotel gym excited for a serious workout and forget that I haven’t worked out in 2 months

When you realize half this job is swatting sh.. out of the way so you can focus on the stuff that actually moves the needle for the client.
When your client sponsor was previously a consultant and thinks they can manage your team 🐢
Ditching the back pack. What are some cool work bags (male) that you use to carry stuff to work and that are client presentable?
Funny how some firms have analysts at entry level that then get promoted to consultants, and others vice-versa. Wonder if it affects exit-opportunities at all 😛
How many people are dating other consultants? It's just so much easier not having to explain all the baggage that comes along. No pun intended.
Team dinner? More like, Let's sit around for four hours and do nothing while the introvert shrivels up and dies.
