I was relatively confident as I think my background is pretty much a perfect fit, but I should have asked for a referral first. Is it too late to get a referral if I already applied? Hi everyone, I recently accepted an offer at McKinsey (college hire BA). Can anyone tell me what the typical pay progression is? 2nd and 3rd year BAs, then first year EM? If I have a Master’s, would it be worth it to go get an MBA once I’m eligible? Do you think not having one will hinder me as I progress/if I decide to exit to industry? Got selected in Accenture for 'Associate Manager' position. I have 8 YoE. HR round today. Someone please tell me what's the maximum salary I can ask the HR? 31 M 5 foot 8 200 lbs. muscular build. I want to get to 180 and know strength will take a hit. Has anyone experienced weight loss while maintaining muscle mass? Lifting 4-6 times a week for 45 mins. Cardio 1-2 times and that’s like a 15-20 min walk at most. Diet 75% vegan. How can I drop this weight? I’m fine to eat like a dog and have the same meals every day I just need someone to tell me what to eat and when.

It looks like Marketing Ops roles have been largely spared from the layoffs. What is everyone else seeing and experiencing out there? Marketing Ops has always felt relatively safe because most teams run lean anyway, but we’re living in strange times.

After MBA, Deloitte UK offered me a low-ball position of a C instead of SC. I really want to work for Google (dream co.) in their GCP domain as a Program Manager as I have Project Manager experience too. But every time I apply for the role, I get rejected. I have 9 years of total work ex, and MBA, project manager exp and my last role was of Solutions Architect. I have relevant cloud and PM certifications too. Currently working for Deloitte. I am planning to start with Google's Cloud Digital Leader (CDL) certification and later will move further for Associate Cloud Engineer Certification. But upon searching on the internet I couldn't find any jobs that require CDL, mostly starting with Associate Cloud. Since I don't have any experience in Cloud and to start with Associate Cloud I need to have at least +6 months of experience on Google Cloud.

My current manager is a very controlling and has perpurated a v tense culture within the team. The boss recognises that the team is stressed, but blames the team for having such an attitude. The person is a micro manager dictates things like when work pings should happen, but at the root of it all, the team is over competitive & unhappy because of the leadership. Everyone's scared to write anything in PMR or perf for the fear of being identified. I'm new to to the team, but not to Google. Help!
