Hi all! I just wanted to ask if TD Canada would have any hiring freezes or layoffs happening anytime soon... Any word about it? I've signed an offer (and did onboarding processes) and I'll be on vacation soon, but I'm worried that I might come back to no job (since my start date is after my vacation).

This is my first job in a large corporate company, and I’m trying to gauge how long it normally takes to move from entry level to another internal position in the insurance industry. I have been applying internally for a year now and I am wondering if this is normal or if my company is just slow? I am a top performer, with great metrics, and I have some wonderful connections I’ve made who support me. I just can’t seem to move up. How long did it take you to move up? How many tries did it take?

Do you think it is quite possible to get fired by asking too many questions as an experienced senior 1? If so, i might get fired after this busy season.

Starting the interview process at a competitor and the people I will be interviewing with know my current team members just from being in the industry and I think some even used to work together.
