I received a temporary employment contract from a very reputed company in Dubai based on my previous association with them.

I know only limited contract or an unlimited contract. What is this temporary employment contract? Can someone help me?

Is it okay to get one letter of rec from a manager who left your firm? I have a great relationship with them and know they’ll write an amazing letter. Just not sure how adcom’s perceive if they are not currently managing me. FYI I will get the other letters of rec from current managers/bosses

I’m in a rather peculiar situation. I have been in the HR field going on 4 years, I have over 11 years of management experience, I got my PHR last year and I recently graduated with my MBA with a concentration in HR this month. I am ready for a more challenging role. However, there doesn’t seem to be much available at my current company. However, I am going on 5 months pregnant with the expectation of being out in October. I feel like once I mentioned my pregnancy I was in a holding pattern.

I am 18 weeks and see watery thing coming out after peeing. It has weird smell. Google tells me that it can be amniotic fluid too... now I am freaked out... anyone gone through this ?

Smallish firm that just merged with another smallish firm. We're switching tax software and about 3/4 of my team is anxious about any change after a couple of roller coaster years full of changes already (pre-merger and unrelated to it.)

Anything you recommend to ease the transition? If it makes a difference for your advice, staff is on the older side. They had buy in on the software and plenty of demos and time to check it out and test it etc. But implementing it is making them anxious

I’d like to work for the FBI either as a Special Agent or Professional Staff as a Forensic Accountant. I am currently a Senior Forensic Accountant at a public accounting firm but we mainly handle commercial damage calculations, business valuations, and SOME investigations that one might think of as “was there fraud? We’re not sure, please Mr. Forensic Accountant can you take a look at our QBs?”
