Hi all, I recently moved from Toronto to NYC and I’m looking to put my foot in the door in project management. I have experience in managing healthcare projects/ops. I’ve been interviewing for 6mo. to no avail. At this point it feels like I’m certainly doing something wrong to get tons of rejections. Any advice or tips?

Have you consider switching into Client Services? The market is hot right now - so much that I know NY agencies that are reaching out to people in Toronto for remote work. Perhaps they also have PM roles but CS could be an easier option
They are similar and sometimes even combined into one role depending on the size of the agency. I would say main differences are that Client Services is client-facing, leads the account and drives strategy while ensuring deliverables meet client expectations, Project Management manages production teams, resourcing and timelines
