Hi All, I got a offer at BNP Paribas Chennai, 21 Lakhs, my current CTC IS 15 lakhs fixed, here we don't have any bonus. BNP is saying they have bonus component on top of CTC. I'm ok to relocate to Chennai from Hyderabad. Not how would be the hikes and bonuses BNP Paribas.

I have a screen tomorrow for a C&S role at Boston Consulting Group. Would it be worthwhile to get a referral at this point? If so, would any BCG fish here be interested in referring me to this role? Happy to share more details about myself and the role over DMs - Thanks in advance for your time and consideration!
How to get release from an important project??

I have 6 yrs of HR exp, a PHR cert & an HRIP cert. I recently left my role as an HR Rep at a tech co b/c I was working 60+/week and the stress of the job was affecting my health. I recently received an offer at a new tech co that is $10k less than what I was previously making with comments from current EEs that this new co has a better WLB. Total comp is still a lot less than my prev company. Is less comp too much of a compromise for better WLB? What have you compromised for a better WLB?
I would personally let them know that if they can't offer you the growth you're looking for, you will seek it elsewhere
I would see if there are any opportunities to work on projects within ERG or BRGs, there's also work to be done here! I'd also see if your org has an internal gig board or network, sometimes there are short-term projects that can align to your expertise. Obviously before signing up for any of these get manager approval to do flex time with these projects, who knows they might be excited to hear you're looking for opportunities to stretch / network.
Sometimes when you ask for “more” a manager doesn’t always know what to “give”. I encourage you to pitch ideas on projects and other initiatives you’d like to take on. If your manager does not support this and your ambition, I would ultimately advise to look to move to a company that does. Best of luck
Thank you all for your help! It’s a great company overall but this manager is not the right fit for me. I was recommended into this role by some of execs who I had worked with before in previous roles so I had different expectations for the manager as I heard through the grapevine. Thank you all for your help!!
Have you considered switching?
I started the role 7 months ago and didn’t want to make a bad impression. But am going to start looking into it now.
