Spotting this early is most likely implantation bleeding. I always get it around 4-6 dp5dt. It is still a bit early, especially if you’re using the cheap tests or the blue dye kind. I would get a FRER and check again in a couple days (if you can wait that long). The way I think about it is my clinic likes to see beta >50 on 9dp5dt. If you work backwards with 48 hour doubling time, you would only be at 12-13 at 5dp5dpt. Obviously not an exact science but just to keep in mind how low levels we’re talking about this early.
That sounds like implantation bleeding though I’ve never had any. However I never test until at least 10dpo to avoid these situations.
The one thing I have noticed however is an increase in resting heart rate immediately after ovulation when pregnant (two pregnancies - no children yet unfortunately) so that might be a good indicator. I use Fitbit to track this
Agree with this! Was also my first indicator on two chemical pregnancies that it didn’t stick. Heart rate dropped back down while tests were still showing positive.

Give it time! When is your blood test? Mine is Sat, I'm 3dp5dt, we'll hang in there together! Sending baby dust :)
