I want to start earning some extra money on the side by applying some of my skills that I normally don't use at my regular work - excel vba macros, technical writing and data analysis.
I have tried many freelance sites but never got a project. They all seem very overwhelming and crowded. In 2023 I want to focus on one site and invest all my energy into it. Any suggestions where to start?

Why do recruiters ask for your availability to interview...and then pick times outside of windows provided? I would rather you tell me what window is open and I choose from my options. It seems alot less frustrating

Venting… I had a PC reach out last week for services (commercial real estate) who proceeded to tell me that their project is going to make me the “gold standard” , so rich and etc. further they wanted me to send them a plan of everything needed for all the phases of development and an estimated cost. The call completely drained me and rubbed me the wrong way. Then they brought up my age and me being younger, saying it’s an opportunity of a life time. It felt extremely condescending.
