Hi all! I wanted to share a tip I’ve learned that really helped me nail these interviews I just did. At the end of each interview, I always followed up with “Was there anything on my resume that I could provide some clarification for you?” This allowed my interviewer to bring up any further concerns/questions and let me really highlight my strengths, and gave me a chance to alleviate those concerns for them. I really do think this was a key factor as to why I got the job I did!

This is a great tip!

My fiancé also suggested starting an interview by asking what qualities their ideal candidate would possess to demonstrate how you possess those same qualities during the interview.

I definitely asked something along those lines in which I asked what the high level responsibilities of the job that I’d be expected to complete. This helped me tailor my responses to make sure I showed my strengths in doing those responsibilities!

I’m sending resumes out far and wide, ideally I’d be in a new role ASAP. I’m already starting to get requests for phone screenings so formal interviews will probably be on the way.
