Is rolled off from project common in CG ?
I was hired 4 months back for specific project , was working from very 1 week of hire, now i am going to move to bench. Though i am happy but i also very worried as how much time it take to find next project, if i will get project as per tech i want to work.
How is internal hiring system in CG.

IBM is currently offering their design thinking certification for free - I think that might be a good resource especially for shifting perspective, as I find that to be one of the more challenging skills to hone as you go from graphic design to UX design.

Aside from that - I shifted from graphic design to UX by going through a 1 years master at CU Boulder, and I’ve seen others have success via programs like General Assembly (they have online options now). I am unsure about some of the trendier ones advertising on Instagram - but this article seems to have some good resources: https://www.usertesting.com/blog/ux-certification-programs

Pretty, but kind of gets off on the bad foot from a ux perspective with a large close button in the upper left that's not a close button.
I know someone who took a four-part UI/UX certificate course through Pratt and highly recommended it: https://www.pratt.edu/academics/continuing-education-and-professional/pro-certificate-programs/digital-design/ux-ui-mobile-design-certificate/
A lot of them are approximately the same. Tell him to read Don’t Make Me Think and The Design of Everyday Things and then have someone with UX experience review his work and give him the brutally honest feedback.
Strongly recommend New Pragmatic’s UX Design Program. The curriculum is open sourced and you essentially pay for mentorship on a monthly basis and can go at your own pace. If they have a visual background they can 100% get a strong UX design and research foundation. Chris Courtney, who runs the program is awesome and adds so much value. The YouTube channel has a ton of great tutorials. Happy to answer more specific questions.

This is the best place on the Internet for learning about UX (and UI) design. https://www.interaction-design.org/invite?r=tonya-ratliff-garrison
I second this. It's a great platform and has some of the best teachers out there.

Thank you all, I sent the list. I think some of what you shared is also interesting for me to enroll to (eg. Design Thinking)
Also curious.
