We need some help with what is reasonable in a nanny contract. We currently have guaranteed 40 hrs/week, and anything over 40 is overtime. We have an approximate schedule but do not have a min shift of 8 hrs/day. Is it reasonable to 1) have some flexibility (within reason, say +/- 1 hr) day to day within the week? And 2) for weird weeks (e.g., we’re taking half day Friday) ask a nanny to work a little longer the other days (though still stay under 40)?

@Bosch, I received offer from Bosch in Sept, they offered me whatever I asked initially. But by the time Bosch offer came, I got another offer with better salary so i asked the recruiter whether the salary can be revised.She told me to drop a mail to the HR keeping her in loop.I did that on that day immediately.Afterwards I kept calling the recruiter for an update, everytime she is telling that she has to speak with the HR.I tried calling the HR directly but she never picks call.can someone help
