Hi All, If someone referred me for a role at Facebook a few months ago, do I need a new referral if I am now interested in a role at Meta? I thought I remembered hearing their referrals apply to all positions applied to for 12 months but now I am unsure.

I made it to a third round interview for an operations manager position at JP Morgan Chase. I’m meeting with the director and a couple other members of the team. I was told the third interview is the last and final interview before an offer is extended. Has anyone ever made it to the their final interview and not been offered the job? I know anything is possible but I’m pretty anxious.

Has anyone else had a mentor (assigned to them by the Company) who seemed to have it out for you? I mean downright sabotage to make you look bad left and right. I didn’t realize it at first. She was fake friendly, but she was discrete too. Some of the executives thought she was amazing, but I had to clean up her work all the time. She wasn’t above me either on the chain of command. Later I found out she had tried for the exec assistant role and they didn’t choose her, they wanted me instead.

I was tasked with drafting a motion to challenge venue as the partner on it stated there was none as the alleged conduct occurred in a different state (our state had a very particular venue rule). Accordingly, I get to drafting, find a case I think helps, and submit for review and file. Lo and behold, I don’t even notice the rule at issue was amended such that venue does exist.
