Im a fourth year partner. The clients are good, workload is manageable, have a great team and a great boss. But I'm just not motivated to go and kill it anymore. It just feels more of the same thing. Also, I keep having a feeling that I could be doing a lot more if I were in a startup or in a different corporate role. The only reason that stops me from doing any of this is that money here is good and I worked really hard to get here. Any advice?

Hi Fishes, I recently made a switch and my ctc jumped from 13.5 lpa to 38 lpa.I have moved to a prdct based compny,they have given the ctc I have asked for and on top of it additional joining bonus of 6 lks & rsu.I was very happy with it because I got little more than I have asked and I didn't try anything else even though I had 50 days of notice period left. But now when I see other posts where people with lesser yoe is getting almost the same package I doubt if I settled for less

Working at a startup, 1st role in data, 70k. Within 6 mo I became primary BI analyst working on projects across all departments. Manager thought I deserved a salary increase, director told her his hands were tied because I hadn't reached 1 year. 1 year mark(aug) I had very positive performance review, director recommended salary increase, CTO said wait for finalized budgets EOY. 1st meeting of the year was told fundraising, salary raises would be determined by EOM, now saying April WTF? I have an offer to join a startup as an APM. The only downside is that the engineering team is located offshore in India. I’m concerned about the resulting impact because of 1) the potential late night calls 2) the learning opportunities missed by not working with a US engineering team (communication tactics, translatable skills) 3) potential exit opps into FAANG pm roles due to not having experience with an onshore eng team.
