Hi All! I’m currently working as a Business Risk Supervisor for a large audit/consulting firm but considering switching since my firm doesn’t have a large fraud and forensics presence. Does anyone have any recommendations on firms to look into? I’d also be open to speaking with someone in the industry to get an idea of what to expect. Thanks!

Well all of the Big 4’s have those service offerings, as do many mid-market and niche firms (like FTI).

Might depend on where you’re located though

It’s pretty common during slow periods at the Big 4 to be loaned out. It can be audit, internal audit, deal advisory, etc. whatever it takes to get billable hours.

Is it me or does the newer generation value more intangible things that aren’t easily measured like work-life balance, fulfillment and purpose in work. Which makes it difficult for firms because that’s not something that is easily measured. Also, this is why there is “value” in crypto, NFTs and the metaverse. It’s a clash of the generations that value tangible things like money, houses, cars and one that values time, experiences, personal online image. Thoughts?
