I'm brand new to consulting and the data science space. After over a year of self-study I landed a role as a data analyst and just under 3 weeks in I feel like I totally suck at this and wonder how I got hired. Major imposter syndrome vibes.

I’m working on my application for a role at Google. Is there a particular time frame from the time the posting appeared, within which I should target submitting the application? E.g., the position got posted on LinkedIn on Monday and it may take a week to network a bit, complete the application and submit. Do you think I should rather try to submit it earlier? Looking for advice on career pivoting as it has been daunting. I have 10-YOE in public policy in Infrastructure financing, governance strategies and financial mgmt. Given my transferable skills, I have narrowed down my career pivot to :

Need advice & perspectives: I got a verbal review from my manager saying he couldn’t see me as senior cuz I didn’t follow the design doc format he mandates from all designers. While I have been the only designer who does almost everything from design, UI asset creation, wiring up UI in Unity (I am in mobile gaming).
