I am having 2 YOE in SAP MDG. They are offering me 10.35 lpa CTC [9 LPA FIXED].
Is it fine or should I negotiate more?
Also I have offer from Accenture with 8 lpa fixed + 21% variable and 60k joining bonus.
Which is better to join Deloitte india or Accenture?

I have never done this before and instability is my worry. The money is better but is it worth not knowing how long this contract will keep renewing?

So I recently asked for an higher salary, which I have been given. My role and responsibilities are the same. I effectively received the agreed amount of money on my latest salary slip but I didn't sign any "new" contract. Is this normal? How does this work? This is my first salary bump and I don't really know how is it supposed to happen.

I used to see openings for Accenture Health Payer roles every day…now nothing. What happened?

After a long and extensive interview process (2 months & 12 rounds of interviews) I finally heard back that they are very interested in offering me the job. My Current base is $135k (in NJ) and my ask is $180K (in NYC). But base comp ceiling for the position grade is $165k and they are willing to offer one time payment to make up for the gap between the offer & the ask. Any thoughts? The role has very upward potential in next couple of years.

What are other comp elements I can negotiate? Thx!

Got a call from a recruiter for Dell Strategy today - she spent about 3 minutes on the phone and said “can you provide me 4 45 minute blocks for case interviews”. So - we are doing remote school but schools have been open in NJ for in-person instruction as well. My kids’ school is actually pretty awesome in the arrangements they do for remote learning. But even they are closed already for 2 weeks as 3 kids tested positive !!! So much for freedom.

I am an hourly employee. Currently if there is a hospital call that needs to be done, someone will volunteer to do it for overtime. Now, my company wants to create a set call schedule. If we get a call at 5pm, when my shift ends, can I still be required to complete the call? I will be paid overtime but don’t like the fact they will force it upon us.

Looking to get advice on my first real estate property for personal use. Located in Austin, Texas. Currently renting an apartment and I’m looking to purchase my first property. making about 100k a year married with no kids. Spouse currently doesn’t work. Can get about 50K liquid cash and another 50K if needed from brokerage account. I’m deciding between a normal single family home or duplex in 400-500K range. Issue is in Austin I don’t see any decent shape duplex in that range.

I would like to incorporate more strategy because I can see myself doing this long term and i’m not going to be so lucky everyday. Any tips?

I had a role on a team and contributed, but I have heard recruiters are off put by stating you were part of a team effort since they don’t know your contribution to it.

Why do I get an auto-decline from MBB? I usually get to the online/HireVue interviews for every other company (finance, consulting). I have a high GPA and a lot of research experience in popular fields (ML/DL). But for MBB I get a decline the next day. Is it because my undergrad is from abroad and non-target?
