Hi all, I'm under notice period, my lwd is 29 Nov, and I was scheduled to support "X" team from 1st Nov. My manager called me today and asked to work for 10 hours each from 1st onwards, I can't take my optional leave (5 Nov) and Saturdays are working so it's total of 60 hours a week in my notice period. I asked her for a Saturday off in between to do my personal work, she directly said no leaves in notice period.
Is it how people should be treated under notice period?

Guys, I finally did it!! After 8 months of searching, 239 job apps, 22 screens, 12 HM calls, 8 on sites, and 4 offers, I am finally leaving banking for an industry role with a normal wlb, and with a 40k TC kicker to boot. How many hours a week are you working? I’m generally clocking about 50-60 and I’m exhausted. I’m busy, but it’s mostly because no one I work with has any boundaries.

I got selected for TCS recently and 4th July is my joining date. I was selected for 15 LPA. My concern is i have a small kid who is 10 month old and i dont want to leave her to maids. I am getting higher package offers like Nagarro permanent wfh. But i am hearing that Tcs will be good for WLB and less work stress. Is this true? Because i am little bit stresseful that permanent wfh options may be very hectic. Kindly guide me in this regards.

I know it is about ethics, but at the same time, it should be punishable because you are deceiving a person to take advantage of the situation; it is a scam.

So here's where I'm at....I have a job that's VERY stable but a manager that well, manages poorly. The manager is there for the foreseeable future, there is no room for promotion or a possible shift change for another 2-4 years. I have two doubts is Engagement PB will be paid even if we are in bench and is it recovered when I resigned?.
