There are about ten things you said in that blurb that all support you leaving your current agency and taking the new role. If the current agency tries to counter, don’t take it. They clearly don’t respect you.

Back on the market and I’m coming to find two things: 1. Less desirable agencies are the ones who want people back on-site soon, with no wiggle room for remote work. 2. These same agencies want to pay salaries based on COL in the city where the agency is based even if you’re working/living from another market in the interim. McKinsey offer states that they will file Green Card after 18months at the firm. Thats a long time, I am on H1B with approved i-140. Has anyone able to negotiate this. They seem pretty firm about it.
