I really like my job: believe in the product, enjoy my coworkers, solid manager, a lot of autonomy, company invests in my development… but I think I can make more money elsewhere. I’m starting to entertain recruiter calls and I have a couple of interviews, but finding it difficult to dive into it fully because I’m not sure it makes sense to leave a role I like just for the lure of money. Any advice? Context: PhD in biotech, 2 YOE, 9mo as PM

I’ve done some soul searching of late and established I’d love to be offered a FTE role in my current company. I think this is partly due to never having had a full time job which I’ve enjoyed and which have valued my contributions. I think this is due to wanting to feel accepted. I know acceptance needs to start with me etc but I think redundancy and workplace gaslighting has meant I’ve never achieved growth and status in one company where I can truly grow. Anyone else has this?

There aren't many places I can speak openly about this, but Fishbowl has been a solid refuge and resource. After ~6 months of interviewing, managed to exit MBB. Moving to Europe for a strategy and ops role at FAANG. Hopefully the new role will be more enjoyable and sustainable. Sharing this here because I used to see posts like this and never thought it could happen for me - but it did. It gets better, folks. Just keep swimming.

Hi all. How does one approach about a role change. I found out I got promoted to a senior support manager but the duties are the same as I do now and don’t consist of leadership responsibilities ( I work for a startup and was expecting this). How does one go about asking for role change in a different function of the company?

Serving notice period, 43 days left at Wipro. HR and my Manager is not responding properly. Manager did not nominate me for B2 promotion. HR said she will match the salary.

Suddenly saw I got promoted to B2 with revised salary in the Salary history, same is reflecting on PSP page. HR said, will get an update, but still not heard anything. And my manager is clueless..

I have no idea, will they propose a retention or I may prepare for my next company?

In the offer letter, they have
mentioned that:
You will be on training/probation for a period of 18 (Eighteen) months from the date of joining the
Company.
Now, there are three scenarios for leaving a company
1. Between the training period.
2. After completion of the training period.
3. After completion of training+prohabtion period.
Pls, Answer three of them for a better understanding. Will there be any problem or not?

Recently i have seen many associates are complaining about work pressure at Infosys. The working environment has gotten worse. People are working 18 hrs per day and even on weekends. Its not specific to a project or vertical. Many of my friends resigned just because of no wlb there. What could be the cause of this? Is it really possible that Infosys will collapse soon. Looking for some expert opinions.
