Current Salary: 13.5lpa
Years of exp: 4+2 (2 yrs post MBA)
Current Role: Assistant Project Manager, IT industry
What salary should I expect/ask for if I decide to switch? I think I am being underpaid right now. Please suggest.
Please also suggest any certification which could help me prepare myself for interviews. I am confused between PMP and CSM. Which one would be better/more suited for IT Project Managers?
Thanks in advance.

Interviewing for a direct admit partner role (audit) and I’m curious as to the key points the partners in this group would value and want to hear from a candidate. Coming from a firm where I spent 10 years and wanted to gain a broader view. Appreciate any insights.
How many different companies did you interview with before you received an offer at your current company? And how long was that process? I’ve been on a job hunt for close to 4 months! Getting a lot of interviews but no offers.. getting frustrated!!
How does one get 3-5 years of experience in (insert area of law) for the “entry-level job” without being in (insert area of the law that one is applying for)?
Can anyone refer me to either Deloitte USI Kolkata or EY GDS Kolkata for business strategy role...I am already on notice.
My EOY review is coming up. Here I plan to lobby for a promotion/raise (been at company for 1.5 yrs). Some backstory: During my hiring process I was told by my now boss and VP they were also going to hire a senior engineer to help me along. They never hired such senior engineer because I have over performed and do more than they thought I could (have been told this in 2 performance reviews). Thus, is it fair to ask for a raise and promotion to Senior engineer?
New offer from current company to move to a new team and they’re like it’s some big promotion. Current role is key accounts + a territory, 125k base + 31k and 19k additional bonus opportunities (which I’ve been hitting consistently). New role is a pay grade jump technically and just key accounts and supporting another team for some other big accounts. Pay is 158k + 27k bonus. Total comp difference is only 3% raise. I got a 6% raise in the same role last year alone. What would you negotiate?
Hey ladies 👋
A few weeks ago, I shared how hard it was for me to land interviews despite sending tons of InMails on LI, networking, and applying. I made new connections off of 1 post on Fishbowl which is AMAZING! 👏 I haven't gotten any offers yet, but I'm optimistic that the right opportunity is around the corner. 🤞🏽
I'm making another post because I was inspired by others generosity in reaching out to help. Tell me what you're looking for and drop you LI url.

My current ctc is 23lpa and I have offer of around 35lpa in India
However i am getting an onsite opportunity In Denmark, what should be my expected ctc there? Considering the country is much expensive. If anyone has done research regarding cost of living in Denmark earlier, please share your thoughts on this, it would be very helpful. They are willing to offer 60k euros, but I feel 35 lpa in india is better deal. Companies are equivalent.
I have 6 years experience in frontend.

BCG NAMR has standard salaries at each level— the only difference in pay between two PLs or two Principals at same tenure is bonus.
Do other firms do it this way? Why not? I came to BCG straight....
How many rounds does UBS have in all after the assessment, any help would be appreciated.
Anyone tried influencer marketing for cold starting user acquisition. Have some micro influencers in our space that would be a great fit but curious if anyone has pro tips / experience they could share (e.g., pitfalls)
I’m convinced stubhub has hired the worst engineers possible. So many things wrong with their website and app for as long as I can remember.

Hello everyone. I never thought about making a career out of hr but its definitely something that I want to do now. Eventually, my goal is to become an HRIS analyst. At ADP i worked as a technical support analyst and helped clients with anything from troubleshooting system issues to reporting to processing payroll and much more. I've applied to over 100 positions and havent even advanced to a single interview. It has been rejection after rejection. Any suggestions on which positions to focus on?

Feeling confused-6 months ago, I was asked to help out with one of the HRBP teams b/c they were short staffed. Resulting in me working as an HR analyst(original role) and an HRBP. My manager recently informed me that the HRBP team wants me join their team permanently and asked if I would be interested in this mobility move. When I asked her about the comp, she said it would be a lateral move, so won’t be a comp change until year end. Great opportunity but know I will be underpaid. Thoughts?

Is anyone else trying to find the balance between being for the company and for the employees?
I've been told I'm too much in favour of the employees when I'm defending the lower-paid employees, or talking about employee well-being, but somehow it's ok when the higher-ups go out of their way to give the higher-paid employees financial assistance, or to allow toxic managers to continue in their positions because their feelings shouldn't be hurt.

PHR vs SHRM vs AIRS? Which one should I pursue?
Hey folks! I’m a TA Specialist from India. I’ve worked in the gaming industry for most of my experience and have an added experience implementing and delivering TA projects. Looking for a change in a similar role - mix of recruitment and projects. Would you all be kind enough to help with a few references? Thanks
Thoughts on PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP certs? I have approximately 9 years of HR exp and my bachelors and MBA. Been debating on whether or not I need to fulfill my urge to get a certification. Wanted to get some thoughts around whether you have a similar background and opted to or opted to not get their certification? Thanks!
What would your reaction be if the company you applied to asked for you to get permission from your current firm before moving forward? The situation is the company you're applying to is a client of your current firm, and you've already gone through the interview process with the new company. Thoughts?

I’d love to see what people suggest for this because I’m in the exact same spot lol
Same! I'm actually here for some suggestions as well.
Ahhh this is a cool transition! I think the biggest thing I've found that helps for prep is to go through glassdoor for similar roles at orgs to see what kinds of stuff people ask. That helps you map out some experiences that you can potentially leverage, or just areas that they're going to cover
Good tip, thank you 😊
