I have total 7.5 year's of experience currently working as team lead with 14 lac. CTC how much salary should i expect with this YOE?

Should I keep my new job or boomerang back to my old job? The new job pays 50K more base, 25K more bonus and I get 40K a year consulting for the old job so around 115K difference in cash (not counting equity).

So why even consider going back to the old job? The new job keeps me busy 12+ hours a day while the old job is a coast at 1-2 hours a day max.

My idea is not to enjoy the free time and sit on my *ss, but to figure out side gigs, passive income streams or even start a startup. (more)

How valid do you all think Glassdoor salary ranges are? Backstory; old company was acquired by a new company week 1 of my employment. (3 years ago). Was poking around at the salary ranges for my position and it seems I am vastly being underpaid. I don’t even know where I would begin to start this conversation with my boss or HR. I did take a significant pay cut when I took this job cause I was desperate- but now seeing the new company ranges they are much more on par to what I had been making.

There is one think I was always wondering. While someone is leaving a company to other, why is it that it should be in such a secretive way. Why should we inform our colleagues officially on the last day of working? Won't it be good to inform in a week advance and leave with a proper goodbye from everyone? I️ was working on proposal coordination for a non profit before and then I got an offer to work in Tech. Now it has just got increased by factor of 3 or 3.25 i.e. 8 year of work ex 8x3 = 24 -27 lacs
