Has anyone moved from Accenture Federal to CGI Federal at Manager/Senior Manager level? Looking at Strategy/Organizational Change Management roles, and curious to know if you feel that compensation and benefits were worth it when measured against your actual experience once you started working with CGI. (I understand that some of it depends on the account you're on, the team you have, etc., just trying to decide if it's worth considering.) Thanks!

If you need the clearance for the role you are applying you may want to consider waiting until after you have obtained it. Most agencies don't allow you to work with an interim clearance at that level. I'm also not sure how the transfer process would work if you technically don't have a clearance to transfer yet. I would talk with your Security Liaison.
I disagree with this. Some companies, especially big ones, can find something for you to do until the adjudication comes through. Especially with a hot job market - go for it. The worst they'll say in 'No.' Just be up front about where you are in the clearance process (in writing) so the future employer doesn't get surprised.
As for the 'How does it work to transfer with an investigation ongoing?' question, this wasn't an issue when I did it during the 2016 clearance backlog. Deloitte just picked up the investigation. There might have been a little paperwork, but it was nothing memorable. Maybe it's different for this employer. Maybe it's different 6 years later because the rules changed. But you won't know until you ask.
I think it’s fine, but I’m pretty sure you need to have it fully adjudicated before you change employers
Absolute state it!! I got hired becuase I had an interim and the firm was willing to hire me then wait for it to be adjudicated
My situation was unique and involved being in the military reserve. If you’re job hoping I would wait for it to be adjudicated. Adjudicated just means finalized, like the government completes the investigation and signs off on it. If you leave early your firm can cancel the investigation and sponsorship since there is no longer a need
Wait until it’s adjudicated to jump jobs. If you leave too early, your old employer can discontinue the investigation and you won’t get the clearance.
Wait until you have it.
Definitely add it
Definitely add it. But include the details in parenthesis. Interim means you passed the basic checks.
But 10000% wait until you have the full thing before trying to get a new job.
It does not
