Hi All,

I’ve been in the legal industry for over a decade as a legal secretary, and I am curious about switching industries for a remote EA role.

I have heavy calendar management experience booking meetings in different time zones as well as heavy experience with domestic and international travel.

Any tips for switching industries? If you have any remote EA openings at your company that you’d be willing to provide a referral for/know the salary range, any and all leads/advice is appreciated!

I was a legal assistant that transitioned to EA within a legal department supporting a General Counsel for a large company. Maybe you can look into something similar? Those remote roles are hard to come by though :( I am now in market research, still an EA and have been remote since the start of the pandemic. So I got lucky in that sense. Happy to answer any questions if you have any.

I was a legal secretary and now work as an administrative assistant in a corporation. I was able to just show my skills were the same. If you worked for one of the higher up lawyers then you should be able to show that it is just like working for an executive.

McKesson has an opening for a Sr Administrative Assistant supporting the general counsel team, and legal experience is actually preferred! I would be happy to chat with you more about it and provide a referral if interested.

Hi!
I’m trying to choose between entry-level offers(undergrad AC/JC ) at Bain & Company and
Boston Consulting Group.

Pros of Bain: liked the people, based out of Dubai, liked their externship program + other non-work benefits.
Cons of Bain: not that big in the ME.

Pros of BCG: interesting projects, very big sign-on bonus.
Cons of BCG: based out of Riyadh.

I’m interested in CX, Product Strategy, Digital Transformation.

Does Bain handle projects in those areas?
Is Riyadh that bad?

Thanks!

Can anyone recommend a resume writer that is not charging hundreds of dollars per hour? Many of the writers I've been finding and interviewing are for more senior level/executive management decision makers.
