Elastic bean stalk = app engine
Lambda is serverless for jobs. Beanstalk is optional fully-managed for apps that contain jobs. Beanstalk let’s you control the resources provisioned, like ec2 instance type, but Lambda only let you provision memory, time-out etc

Beanstalk is designed for deploying an entire application. Lambda is for deploying specific individual blocks of code (aka “functions”).
If you want to install Wordpress for example, you might consider Beanstalk so you don’t have to figure out all the resources you need individually.
But if you wanted to build Wordpress from scratch, then you might look at Lambda to handle portions of what you want to build.
