Considering a career change but not sure which direction I’d like to go. Roughly 17 years in the financial industry - 8 in customer and employee support positions, some QA Testing, and 7 in Business Continuity/Risk Management. There are several areas I think I’d enjoy such as HR, Talent & Development/Education, Procurement or Sourcing. Surely some skills I’ve developed along the way would be transferable. Any advice on making this type of pivot? Or any leads on roles?Thank you!

Looking for career ideas for a friend. He is currently working doing general maintenance for the city he resides and does part time fire fighting. He is over the city job, but loves being a fire fighter. There is no potential to become a full time fire fighter at his current, and no openings at any department in a 45 minute radius (for quite some time now). Moving is not an option. Planning to still do fire fighting on the side, what careers could be a good pivot? Working on associates degree.

Looking at some recent salary guides, I’m wondering what attributes an in-house designer that makes +$75k/yr possesses in order to command that level of compensation.

What is most efficient way to practice a case with partners who don't have consulting background or relevant experience? Do you just give them Casebooks and ask them to choose random one?

What math do you do mentally and what math do you do on paper in a case interview? I have a case where something is done 430 times a day. I need to multiply it by 365 else by 30*12.
