Nailed an interview recently and was informed that I was the top candidate but the role is on hold for two weeks so they can review things and then they will present me with an offer letter. Is that a bad sign? It’s for large tech company if that helps. Thanks!!!

For those who do med mal - is it similar or worse than ID? Do the cases take a toll or does it feel good to defend doctors who are overworked and trying? Just trying to figure out if I should apply for a med mail position with a $15,000 raise which would be a lot for me. Friend of mine was supposed to receive an offer (told verbally) from Deloitte and then just found out they are pausing on hiring the role. How common is that? Seems wildly unprofessional that none of the partners called and instead it was the recruiter conveying that news. At McKinsey, if that happened, the head of the practice or the office would personally make the phone call at the very least.

Currently job hunting. I know a few retired C-level executives who tell me that they would hire me at the director level in pretty much any role (despite currently being an individual contributor) because I'm extremely driven, a life-long learner, a natural leader, and deeply educated in diverse fields (PhD in engineering and MBA in analytics). Hi Fishes, I've cleared L1 round recently with Persistent & appeared for L2 round today. Post the interview, I received an automated email from Persistent careers with Subject "Interview Feedback for L2 Interview". The mail body states that they will get in touch with me soon and has a link to career portal. When I went inside the portal, I can see status of my application as below.

Hi bowls, My total experience in QA is 6.7 years. I am currently serving notice period in Deloitte. It's been 1.8 years here. I have got a good pay and position in Accenture as Application Development lead (Band 9). Including variable it comes around 25lpa. Current CTC in Deloitte is 18.2 Including variable.
