Hi All, I recently interviewed at Amazon and Google for software engineer and passed both interviews. I have an offer on the table from Amazon but with Google I am officially in team matching and my recruiter tells me that the queue is pretty backed up now and it can take a long time. My question is should I take the Amazon offer now or decline Amazon and hold out for Google? I have heard that Google has better wlb/benefits. But I'm scared to decline Amazon without a guaranteed job offer.
Any of the hedge funds will love him. Think fidelity, eagle investments, SS&C, Putnam Investments they would all leverage his skills and experience and challenge him for more.

You don't need special experience to go work for FAANG. Also, you don't need to go to those companies to get paid well or do interesting work. People are crazy about big names, but it doesn't make sense.

Yeah why not go through the Fortune 500 and just look for what he is interested in , that should ring a bell or two . Then go from there and see the top 100 of that particular field.
