My company is looking for someone with some basic HR/admin experience for an HR role.
Company is located in Southern NH, but they are accepting remote applicants as well!

I want to be an HR generalist, but I am afraid I may have to take a step back in order to do so. I’ve been in recruiting and the talent management sector of HR for 5+ years. Now, I want to step into a generalist role, but realize I lack some aspects of experience that I maybe could have gotten as an HR coordinator. Do I need to take a step back/laterally move before becoming a generalist? I have my PHR. Thank you!

Needing advice: My company has gone through an Acquisition, and the parent company's HR is looking to add to the team and has voiced that I'd be the obvious candidate for the job. Has anyone had experience working locally, supporting a local team directly, and then moving to a role where you still work locally, but support the larger organization as a whole? I am having a very hard time seeing how that dynamic shift would work, and management has been less than helpful when I ask.

How is the WLB then? Is it okay to commit on such roles provided you are proficient in one part and have least exposure on the other sides.

Looking for objective opinions. I was in a training session today with all men and one other woman. Truth be told, I was by far best there (based on effort, not necessarily natural ability). I suddenly felt like a goody twos shoes and unliked for coming prepared. The woman was indifferent with me which happens a lot with women in the industry. Hi Team, I got interviewed in LTI and I got confirmation mail from HR that I am selected for discussed role and they want my documents to go ahead for offer letter. 2 weeks they didn't respond me and stopped taking my calls and now HR said position is on hold after and under review, I am serving my notice period in current company since I resigned after offer and didn't give any interview in between because offer and HR was really promising.

I was a month in as Workday HCM Consultant with Accenture. They immediately throw me into the HCM courses to obtain my WD HCM certification. There are three parts HCM Essentials, HCM Applied, and HCM Practical. The passing score is 70 or above. I scored a 62 on the Essentials portion, I passed Applied, and at the end of this week Practical. During class, I received an “immediate connect” Team call and I was fired because of my low score. I'm devastated, and shocked. Yesterday was my birthday.

Have my PHR/SHRM-CP and CCP. Love comp but my experience is limited to a smaller organization (500). Have applied to many roles but struggling to even get interviews.
