I've been working at a government agency for 6 months, helping to stand up a new team. The job involves interacting with real estate developers. One of the developers reached out to recruit me for a similar position that will pay more than $50k my current salary. I feel guilty, especially since I'd interact with my current team on the other side. It's a hard to turn down that salary, though I feel guilty since my team is thin, and it's only been 6 months!

I cleared Accenture Tech round, and they have sent a mail asking to fill in EAF . Should I wait for HR discussion and then do it? One of my friends didnt have HR round for salary discussion. After Tech round, they directly sent offer letter. When he asked for HR discussion for salary negotiation, they said nothing can be done. Does this happen a lot in Accenture?

I received an email to give my availability for an initial interview, and the recruiter confirmed the phone interview. The day of the initial interview, she asked to reschedule. Here's a situation. I have been selected to join as a manager at a big four entity. While the HR seems to be fine with the hike and the overall package, the senior/management in the team/project seems to be unhappy with the same. Not sure if the offer might go ahead with a lower package or might not go through at all.

The general understanding is that the HR takes a call on packages. Is it different at the big four?
