Florida ppl: I live in a condo & the AC in my unit is leaking refrigerant. Repairmen came by as the AC kept freezing & they said it's leaking inside and the only way to fix it is to replace it. My landlord is refusing to replace the unit for at least 6 months. He's hoping that the Freon they put it will magically fix it. Lease says that he has to keep things in working order. My electric bill is mega high because of this. It's annoying to deal with. I have health concerns about that leak. Help?

Hi everyone, I need help evaluate an offer for senior data scientist at a mid size corporate in SF (mainly focus on statistical modeling and data analysis, no MLE related tasks):
$175K base + 300K RSU, no bonus, fully remote. I’m currently working at a unicorn with $115K base + stock options (best case scenario if stock price increase 11x I’d get around $300K out of it before tax) + 15% annual bonus, in office 2-3 times a week.

Family moving to the Bay Area this fall, I have heard real estate demands are less during this time. Wife and two kids (3 and 5) . I am looking to go to the office (Los gatos) twice a week so ok with a 40min - 50 min drive radius. We are looking at this move as 1-2 yr relocation and so looking to rent a independent or town home. Netflix’s relocation team would help but I wanted to reach out to get some real intel on what places are good for the family safety and schooling for my 5 yr old. CONTD

What the bonus% and hike% I can expect. I joined in April 2022.

I have heard bonus is 10% of your ctc.
Is this irrespective of your CTC and there is no capping.

Like if X person salary is 40lacs he will get 10% 4 lacs as bonus
Like if X person salary is 15 lacs he will get 10% 1.5 lacs as bonus
