Hi all - my partner was laid off in April and still having a difficult time finding work in the DC area. Thanks to your advice earlier in the year, he’s back in school to finish his bachelors in IS Management + taking the NET+ cert exam soon. Will it be hard for him to find a job until he gets his degree or will the cert help with an entry level job to tie him over? Mine was $16k (minimum wage before joining corporate) > $40k (contractor total before getting laid off) > $150k (current FT)?

Is that a 260% jump or 2.6x from $16k to $40k?
And a 375% jump or 3.75x from $40k to $150k?

Or do I calculate it by hourly rate?
