I have 7 years of inpatient healthcare experience and have started as a Data coordinator in solid tumor cancer research about 3 months ago. I get paid around $20/hr and am highly overqualified for basic data entry. However through out this process I’ve realized I love the science of what I do and want to possibly be a clinical scientist. Hi! I currently work at a small but mighty PR firm making $60K (or $65K with no benefits) and I wonder if I'm being underpaid. I have 5 YOE.

I currently am the sole person responsible for driving PR efforts for all of our clients (we're only a team of 4). I keep thinking that with 5 years of experience, I should be making in the $72-$80K range (based in ATL). What's considered fair?

How do you guys negotiate multiple offers.
I am a very bad/dumb 😅 negotiator.
Whenever HR discussion happened they " this is the maximum they can provide according to my years"
In some cases i got lower than what I am currently holding and got the above reason.
Couldn't refuse as I liked the company.
Fearing they might not offer anything.
Thing is refusing to hr offer during negotiations does really results in losing the offer Or saying no if it doesn't meets expectations will not do any harm.

I have been with my company for almost 8 years. I wasn’t certified when I started but I have been now for about a year. It wasn’t required before. I learned that my coworker who has been with us less than a year and had no prior experience in healthcare makes very close to the same amount I do. My boss says our rates are based on our experience which is clearly not true. One of our none clinical members who left was making the same as me. Does this seem right to you guys?
