I have been a practicing DPT (doctor of physical therapy) for 9 years and am a certified orthopedic specialist. I have worked in multiple environments including hospital based outpatient sports ortho and acute care. I am about to finish up my MBA with a focus on healthcare administration, and am worried that my current place of work may not have a place for me to grow into. I'm hoping that some of you may have suggestions of roles or positions to pursue? Thank you!
I think I am just really hormonal and just overthinking something so far away but I am due (first child) in the middle of April and my husband has a childhood friend who is getting married June 10th in New York (we’re in Atlanta.) I think I am already sensitive because he has no paternal leave so he’ll just take PTO for two weeks and then it’s on me to stop my job for the full 16 week leave. I feel resentful that he wants to go and leave me with the baby. Am I out of line?

Pivoting from five years of insurance defense litigation at a mid-size firm to family law in a small/boutique firm (3 partners and about 4 associates). What do you wish you knew when you first entered the field? Any advice is appreciated! So excited for this leap of faith into what I truly believe is my calling.
I am looking to transition into the field of consulting while still working with in the life sciences/health care fields. I applied to Guidehouse for their Summer 2023 internships, and I was wondering if I could speak to anyone currently working there and ask about their experiences!
What does an N/A rating mean? I’ve been on STD leave most of the cycle for mental health issues and have worked a small portion of the cycle. Before going on leave I received feedback that I was in between CME and NI. I was really struggling in my newish role wfh especially as a new parent and my mental health in a very bad state during all of this. Can they put me on a PIP off of an NA rating once I’m back from my leave? Not sure what to expect. Has anyone experienced something similar?
Are there any work accommodations or benefits that you have at your company that help you to be productive with your ADHD? For example, having your desk away from foot traffic? What about those who work from home? Trying to figure out what might be helpful accommodations for those of us who are neuro spicy.
When completing your company's voluntary personal information section, do you self- identify as having a disability? Are there risks or benefits in doing so?
I’m an SA at PwC. I’m going through a season where I’m considering getting out. I do well at my job, have good advocates and a mentor. Consulting is challenging, but I have enjoyed it and am on a decent path. But I think my mental health is suffering bc I don’t feel like myself at work. For example, I’m usually a great public speaker and eloquent. However, I feel like I’m the opposite at work. I’m outspoken, but I don’t feel as empowered at work. Can someone relate?
What's your health insurance plan, biweekly premium, deductible, and coinsurance? Been on the high deductible plan and paid like nothing, but wondering how many doctor visits and surgeries to make a low deductible health plan to be worth it.
So I got 2 offers, 1 at a well-known firm (that I previously worked at, not as an atty) that offered 80K plus full benefits (100% health coverage, PTO, sick days, discretionary bonus & 1800 billable req.) Their a little old school in their methods but I do see the younger gen. coming in to make changes. 2nd offer is at a newer firm however i’ve heard great things, and they offered 80k, unl. PTO, 1500 billable hours, bonus incentives qrtrly, & 50% health ins. WHY can’t I make a decision? HELP
Looking for advice on what to do next. I graduate this summer with my MHA and what I wanted to do with that when is started the program I am unsure if I want to pursue..

Junior copywriter based in Toronto here. Came to Canada about a year ago and did an internship at Klick Health.
Once it ended in late August, they didn't take on ANY intern full time. Been job searching for the past 3 months. Would really appreciate any leads/insight on some entry level gig or internship that might be available in this city. I know it's year end and it's hard, but I am still hopeful as I have seen people still get hired.
Hey does anyone have like a health coach? Or know where to her one? Someone to get you fit and looking like “celeb body” style? Like tells you what to eat, workout, drink, skin health etc?
Any 1099 consultants in the building? How have you gotten your projects so far? Left Corporate in November and it’s been hard to have the ups and downs of having a contract start and end. Do you have other side hustles or income that helps you have health insurance or have steady money coming in?
How important is your job title? I am at a mid-size technology company. They are going through restructuring. I think I will have some flexibility on my new title. Right now I'm a specialist. How important is it to be a Marketing Automation Manager vs a specialist for future jobs?
As a straight male, the world would be safer if no men existed. Men commit most of the problems and crimes this world has. I was having this discussion with my girlfriend and I didn’t realize how bad the male gender is.

Currently I make a base of $63k/yr and $1k/mo in bonuses pre-tax. I manage a performance for a team of licensed insurance agents (service-based role in a direct business environment), maintain our business relationships, and support adhoc training needs. Is there anyone else in this type of role who is able to share how this compares to similar positions and your general location?

I’ve worked for an organization for more than five years with an unblemished record. I was offered a leadership role about 6 months ago. The department has been revamped with a younger, whiter cut-throat group. I have been given no genuine support in this new role. I’ve been taken to HR multiple times since assuming the leadership role. Being made to look like that angry Black woman on the job? Being pushed out…ageism, racism or just no longer a good cultural fit?

I’m a cci edit coder. I currently have the RHIA registered health information administrator. I been thinking of studying for CCS certified coding specialist exam. But none of the jobs I’m interested in require CCS. They want someone that is familiar with data using excel tableau etc I know these things but I have not worked in a role. I guess my question is should I past this CCS exam then focus on trying to get experience as a data analysts or forget about the CCS?

I’m in a bind. Long story short, I have been working with mental health adolescence on separate occasions such as, case managements with at-risk youth, foster care, ABA, now one of the highest paid tech at a psychiatry facility. I want to go for my LPC or LCSW, but is that the only next step I can take my career up a notch?
I am going to be starting a job working in an academic laboratory at a school in Western NY as a lab tech, and was offered 32k salary. I have a BS in Med lab science and have been working in clinical research for the past three years since school. Negotiating them to go higher has not been very successful so I’m hoping to get a sense whether this is a fair salary for my experience? I’ll be cutting my salary more than in half from my job in clinal research but trying to get into PhD program.
Just graduated with Bachelors in Healthcare Management with an emphasis on patient safety/quality. My current position, that I’ve had since before graduation, does not offer upward movement and I’m miserable. I’ve been in healthcare for 7+ years with a very broad range of customer service/insurance/process improvement roles. I’ve applied to hundreds of jobs, had only a handful of interviews, which have all ghosted. What am I doing wrong here? Any advice appreciated.
Any Certified Revenue Cycle Representatives (CRCRs) here? What did your career path look like? What do you like about revenue cycle work? Looking into this role and would love to hear more from others in the space.
Just a question for those here. What does anyone see as a job outlook for a pharmacy technician that has 15 years of experience and is studying for the CPhT? I would like to return to 100% remote work and, understandably, most job postings that are about my caliber are requiring the cert. I am thinking of possibly pivoting into an IT job that would be fully remote later on down the road, but I’m interested in seeing what is possible now (and an average pay) for someone with my experience.

Im currently going to school full time and would like some input on what I should do.
