Decided to get into anime in my free time and starting with Attack on Titan. IMO it’s very heavy handed in their messages and way overacted, but it’s a good time and I’ll probably watch the whole thing… that being said, is all anime like this? It’s an interesting genre and artistic design, so I’m open to other anime but I want to have proper expectations.

Hi all! I have Mechanical Engineering Degree & 5 Years of construction Project Management. I'm looking into make a career switch into a Backend Engineer or Product Development. Any specific free courses or self project that have helped in making a career switch?

I have the opportunity to act as outside counsel for a new construction company (commercial project management). I’ve been practicing for 4 years and have experience in small business law, none in construction. I am hesitant to take this on, and cannot tell if it is just new lawyer jitters or common sense. PC knows I have not worked in construction law, but has worked with me previously and trusts me for the job.

Thinking about leaving Big 4 and going into internal audit (currently about to be a Senior in Assurance).

I like working on controls/SOX much more than substantive. I thought about switching internally to advisory and doing internal audit but not sure what the best move is.

I don’t see myself ever doing a technical accounting role or any financial accounting roles. Ideally I would like to transition to more business operations type of roles throughout my career. Any advice is appreciated!

Hi everyone! I am planning to create a landscape with boxwood for my front yard.. never had boxwood earlier. Thinking of choosing between wintergreen vs sprinter.. I live in Bay Area zone 10a... I would like to have something which is disease resistant and doesn’t turn bronze during winter. Right now getting a good deal for sprinter so iam confused.. I always thought wintergreen is the best. Any suggestions please?
