McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Hi folks. Looking to break into consulting. Have 5 years of experience across financial institutions in the US, Pakistan and Canada. I have previously interviewed at BCG in Chicago and even though I didn’t clear final round, I thoroughly enjoyed the process. Finally in a position to be able to consider this again. Would any of the MBB / Big 4folks be willing to chat/refer me? 🙏🙏🙏 McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group KPMG Deloitte PwC EY
Anyone moved from MBB to big 4 and liked it?

Update - after doing my research and learning more about bcg and Bain . Considering switching over now lol
You guys are underpaid
Bcg is the market leader and pays the most. Mck pays (very) below avg at least for junior roles
Bain not main player yet in ME
Based on friends in competitors now BCG is the one that pays the most followed by OW/Kearney at least up to manager roles
Pick BCG
Don’t pick McK
Clearly not Bain, then trade off is between McK or BCG. If I were him/her would go where I feel most at home.
Bain may be the better choice due to its growth trajectory in the region as well, even if it's smaller right now (I don't see why headcount would even be a metric you really care about tbh). Lots of opportunities will arise as a result.
Take BCG. It’s the market leader, Bain is 💩, and McK pay is garbage for junior roles
I think BCG culture is quite different in MEA than globally. Talk to folks in the region before making the decision.
Bain is still growing and not quite representative of their global footprint and culture. Has gone through a major shuffle recently.
I like McK for its consistency of burgers and fries with coke sort of thing. Pay is commensurate with that.
I would say go for tier 2 l, which in the region is tier 1 in some cases and industries. OW is pretty good in Publicly Sector space, Kearney is good to in Operations and Procurment. AlixPartners is also pretty good with some of the operational and interim management projects.
From an outside view, it seems that more McKinsey ppl end up transferring abroad (US and Europe) than at BCG. Another consideration if that’s worth anything.
But at the end of the day, they will all looks stellar on your resume. Congrats!
From a quick linkedin search it looks like BCG has the better mobility, but ill look into this. Thought McK would be more difficult
Hi there
Would it be possible to PM me please ? I have some questions

How much is EM comp at OW?
