I have a post-MBA offer from MBB in NYC. I am hearing from a lot of friends who just started that utilization is very low and ton of ppl are on the beach. On top of this, next year starting class be even bigger. Should I be concerned?

Is there a way to join an MBB firm without doing the case study interview? 8 YoE experience in operations/supply chain in fmcg and tech industries + MBA from top tier university

Graduating with PhD in comp neuro next year. I just did a week long internship at MBB to check out consulting, which I loved but ultimately will not be accepting my offer for life considerations (my wife also works at MBB and we have young children). It was amazing getting a sense of what the work actually comprises.

Are there any similar day-long or week-long internship programs for data science? Would love to test it out for a little bit to see what I like/dislike.

Anyone moved from MBB to big 4 and liked it?

Most interesting post-MBA exit that you’ve seen? Something besides the usual MBB, PE/VC, FAANG, etc.

Assuming you are smart enough to do both (I know big assumption), are you better off being a SWE/data scientist at FAANG or equivalent level at MBB (based on YOE) from a compensation:WLB ratio?

Have any of you asked for accommodations while interviewing? Would you recommend it? (I’m currently going through MBB recruiting and my friend has advised me to request extra time or breaks during interviews but idk if it’s worth it or a potential liability?)

Feeling really frustrated and don’t know what to do. Interviewed early March, informed that I moved onto second rounds after ~2 weeks. Was told there would final rounds in late April but they never took place and haven’t scheduled it still.

I move states in July to start my job at D but I really want this MBB role. There’s roommates in my current and possible future state dependent on me to find out where I’m working as well. At this point I also feel very demotivated to study/prep.

This was my first attempt H1B and got approved. I did my MS and plan to go back home after few years.
Is it worth doing MBA ? Many people told me that since you are already in big4 you dont need one.
My target is to get in MBB down the line.

Up to what point is it feasible for an MBB analyst / associate to switch into banking in the US without going the MBA route? How many YoE? I know it's generally tough to switch after a couple of years, but since MBB is so prestigious I'm wondering how much that helps. You can assume transactional experience.

Situation: I have a MBB and Amazon PMT offer for summer internship that I need to choose. MBB comes with FT offer, Amazon PMT will most likely result in return offer. If I go with MBB, I plan to exit to big Tech in 2-3 years. Y1 TC for both will be quite similar (around 230k).

Here's a question for the bowl. If you had an opportunity to work at the same company as your partner, would you explore the opportunity? In my case, I did tell my recruiter that I was interested and disclosed that my partner works at that company so there wouldn't be any surprises. Now I'm not so sure I want to pursue the opportunity as I think it would blur the home/work divide. What do you think?
