Yep, and it was totally fine. I got numbing cream put on about 20 min before and then the laser felt like hot, scratchy cat licks. Not pleasant, but bearable. You’ll be pink and tender after. You’ll need to follow a super sensitive and hydrating skincare regimen for about a week after. Even though there will be a sandpaper texture and potentially some brown pigment spots, you cannot exfoliate and need to let them heal on their own. Good results but nothing mind blowing after 2 treatments for me.

I was looking for texture refinement and overall plumping. I would say it helped with brightness and some texture but overall not super noticeable. My derm said 5 treatments spaced out with 1 treatment every 4-6 weeks is typically what you want to aim for for longer-term benefits and then 1x/yr after that. Not feeling flush enough ($$$) to fully commit to that
