Hi all, starting an e-commerce business and kinda worried about order fulfillment. Has anyone here ever juggled their work + fulfilling orders for your e-commerce business. What are your thoughts? Is this doable or it’s better to use fulfillment centers?

Have you even made your first sale? You are worried as if you’re going to be so successful you won’t be able to keep up with demand. Focus your energy into getting there first, then worry about outsourcing later.

Who knows, maybe you’d rather quit your job than outsource.

like

C1 is right. But if you are thinking ahead, yes, you are gonna want to outsource fulfilment when the time is right. That's his yoinscake. In the meantime, use Shopify and stamps.com to streamline your process.
Lastly, you will not succeed if you Dont build a cohesive brand. That's your only way to compete with Amazon or larger eComs. Good luck!

Hi guys! So I am applying for an internship and for the second part of the process I got asked this question “Scenario: It has come to your attention that two developers are not seeing eye to eye on a project and the development process has stalled.
What are some things you could do to help aid in the resolution and continuation of the project? And how you you avoid it in the future?” I think its all about communication. What do you all think?

When is it worth it to take a pay cut? Received an offer from a startup today, the salary they are offering me is 30% below my current salary - offered them my range during the interview but they stuck to their initial salary when they sent me the offer. No 401k, no WFH, but they have unlimited PTO. They are also offering me 10k shares of common stock (25% vested 1 year after the date vesting begins and the remaining on a monthly basis over the next 3 years). How does this translate to $ amount?

Partnership deal - is this a good deal?
I’m working on building a start-up. This requires an app and a website. A friend of mine has a web development company who can do the job for me very well and efficiently. He really likes my project and offered a partnership: i pay him $30k and he gets 20% equity.
He also gave me the option to be ‘treated as a client’ and deliver my project at a normal rate (about $80K), should I not want to partner.
