I have a 2nd round interview coming up for an HR Director role. I need a bit of advice. I am in the process of converting from contract to full time and messaged the hiring manager asking to negotiate for a 7% increase on top of the initial pay increase i’d be getting once converted to full time. After a bit of back and forth chatting about why I felt this was necessary, they just stop and it’s been a few hours now… am I overreacting? or should I wait until next week?
