I am feeling hopeless. I’m a tax senior been through 4 busy seasons with Deloitte. The tax I’m in is pretty niche and I kinda wanna leave tax all together since I wanna start a family and personally can’t do it with another busy season. I don’t know who is willing to hire me because I feel pigeonholed. I’m just hating every moment with this firm right now. Any advice on what positions/companies might be best to look into?

Does anyone know about the IAAP diploma in IFRS?

IAAP is an awarding body in UK.

My doubt is, does the value of the certificate of IFRS change depending on the Institution?

Will a person who cleared IFRS from IAAP have same value as a person who cleared IFRS from ACCA?

Hey, looking for a career switch to an analysis position. This is my third shift; my first job was an analysis role so im not entirely new to the field. Particularly interested in Business Analysis. What does an exit from Salesforce consulting look like? I’m in a technical role leading a small team so my understanding is a technical/solution architect or a development team lead at either Salesforce or an end user like Amazon/Amex.

I have bounced around a couple consulting companies so would prefer not to do it again. Total 4 YOE.

A colleague told me today that Google separates Product Manager and Product Owner as two separate roles. I believe that one PM role is preferred in the industry and most modern software companies, especially FAANG companies, only have PMs. Just curious what others have experienced and if I'm correct in my assumption.

Been working at my company as a new grad for almost a year, but don’t see myself in the team that I am in (working with Salesforce) for long term. Interested in frontend dev and have been learning on my own. Manager says chase doesnt have much React opportunities. Is it possible to make a switch when I barely have experience? I'm a third year plaintiff's employment law attorney and I'm looking to move to defense, preferably still in employment law. I received an offer from a midsize firm that primarily focuses on PI with little-to-no employment law practice, so I'll have a bit of a learning curve. Offer is $90k, billable hours of 2100. Is this reasonable? I'm dead-set on leaving my current job, and this would be a $20k pay increase - which makes me believe I'm leaning towards taking it for those reasons only.

What are your thoughts about putting an explanation for the current gap (as in, I haven’t been working for several months) on your resume, LinkedIn profile or cover letter? If you think it should be included in one of these places, how would you do it?

I was hired on with a company at the same time as my male coworker. We work the exact position, different projects.
I asked him flat out what his salary was when he hired on. His salary is at minimum 15% more. He’s never had a raise.
Neither one of us had any experience in this specific position but he didn’t even have experience in the field, which I did.
I requested a performance and salary review because it’s my annual review time anyway. Best way to address this? Also applying elsewhere.

June 2017: Asked my dad for a 1lac to get my registration done for my MBA (whole year fees), he told me he didn't have any, that phone call broke me to the core. I had to ask people around to lend me some money so that I can save my seat.

I have a question in my mind. If a person dont use a email for long or he/she has forgotten the email address as well as the password. What happens to that email? Do any garbage collection or something takes place or the id stays there .If it stays there then what is the time duration ?
Same goes for google meet link , what is the time limit or duration after which the same link id is sent to another person ? What is the process?

Just wanted to understand, what is everyone's obsession with product base companies?
If people see the service tag they will not even appreciate.
Every product will also have support team or dead work. I know culture, work life balance will come in picture but this all depends on your team, your managers. If team is not good you will suffer product also.

If it's FANG then other story but even Vimal is also product bade company then.
