What are some good companies to work for in Dallas?

A former boss reached out about a role on his new team. When it came up that I just had a kid, he literally said, “I think you’re busy with other priorities now.” And the conversation ended. Anyway, that still happens.

To the people who don’t want to forgive student loans, but do believe in funding welfare programs (specifically the ones that only low income people have access to.. not funding for schools/ libraries), why is it that you don’t believe in helping people who exhausted every opportunity to get an education and attempt to be a productive member of society, but you do believe in helping the other people?
