Side note on this the format of the exam has changed twice recently so her vids may be out of order but the content is all the same. And she also gives really good little insights and tips for the exam itself

I just took a boot camp and now I’m reading through the official study guide. I am wondering if this book alone is good enough as a study resource.
I bought the sybex practice exam book too. once I hit 75% and understood the reason I took and cleared it.
How much time have you guys had to spend studying to pass ? Wondering if I want to invest the time, but also have a bunch of other crap I can be doing.
The official sybex boom is hands down the best resource since it goes down to the right level of detail and hits all key concepts from the exam. I found that other resources tend to skip certain topics/concepts- also, when using too many different sources, you start confusing yourself so it starts to become counter intuitive. In the end I ended up sticking to the official materials and passed in first attempt.
I studied 2-3hr a day on weekdays, 6-7hr on weekends for 3-4 months. I would not let your security experience get in the way of how much you study, I know people with 10-20yr of security experience that failed the exam despite studying. It’s about knowing the content the ISC2 way, which in some cases may contradict how you do things in your role at work.
Dear lord, not one mention of the Eric Conrad books. They're more than sufficient for the test, especially if you have the required experience to not be an associate.
Any feedback from others on this resource?
Has anyone taken the Infosec boot camp? What are your thoughts on that? Any other ones I should look at?
