Hi All.

What platform or consulting firm would you recommend to help a company build out a new and improved onboarding process that emphasizes on training in the IT space (Manage Service Provider)? Once the orientation with HR is completed and the hand off of the new hire to the manger takes place is gap in proper training on the role ans technology's (sales and IT dept). The new management team has been in place for for over a year. Nothing has ever been in place prior for them to work off of

I'd look for vendor with expertise in performance support and integrated training on the job. Keep formal classroom time down, adults learn better while doing and in real world/simulated environments with feedback. I've worked at GP Strategies earlier in my career and leveraged them as a vendor for software training development. There's a host of other companies I have leveraged as well but GP is pretty large and usually responsive and doing innovative/interesting work at a good pricing point. There's some smaller companies I'd recommend but I haven't used them for IT or software training but just new hire programs for non technical training.

How do your compare B4 and ZS partnership models. I am a 6th year B4 partner making $1.4M and ZS is offering slightly more ($1.55M) but a better role with more freedom to do what I really want to do. About a year ago I took a job closer to home (7.5miles). My previous position is about 50miles away, but I worked there for 11.5 years. I am really thinking about leaving and going back to my previous position. I absolutely HATE my job now. It gives me panic attacks thinking about it. I'm getting a good feeling about a potential offer for a FT role at Deloitte (I'm currently contracting with a different team). Have had 2 interviews with ~2 more to go that are probably "gut checks." It's a new role (internal not client facing) they want to fill ASAP. The hitch is I'm expecting in late Feb. When is the right time to disclose this? When/if I get a formal offer? I feel like I'm being shady not saying anything during the interviews even though I know I shouldn't/don't have to.

So my company after weeks of 12hr days putting together multiple proposals for new benefits decided to slash benefits to $300/per employee/family across medical-dental-vision.
