How do you know how much to work without a billable target? My department is so understaffed that I would realistically have to work 90+ hour weeks indefinitely just to keep up. This just seemed like an unusually heavy few months at first, but it’s clear that this is becoming the new normal. Do you actually try to sustain that pace, or just work a standard 40-50 hours regardless? I’m sure the right answer is company-dependent, but I’m curious how others have navigated this kind of culture shift.

I have received an offer from LTI for senior specialist position. I had 2 offers in hand. And I negotiated with LTi with 22 fixed and 10% variable. I have close to 7 years experience. Can you pls help me with he overview of the organisation.. how is LTI for experienced hires ? How is work culture, yearly hikes ? Will they give 100% variable pay?

Can anyone describe Amazon’s culture for an associate corporate counsel,based on team? I’ve read a number of comments on this app and across the internet about the company in general but the individuals never specify what team they’re referring to. I’ve heard from two corp counsel that AWS doesn’t have the best WLB but Prime Video does. I’d be interested to hear what this bowl has to add. The more data points I can gather before interviewing, the better.

I work at a small CRM company in SaaS sales. It’s a small 35 ish employee company with a family-like culture.Been here for 7 years and usually make about 125k gross/year. I work remote, travel the world for free few times/year attending conferences, and just try to sell as much as I can. No stress, no quotas and what you would probably consider a “kushy” sales job. I feel like I could easily be making double at a salesforce and could land the job fairly easily with my experience. Worth the leap?

I’ve recently started working at an amazing company, I love everything about it! The culture, the people, the projects, the flexibility. However, the only problem is me really. I’m fully aware that in life there will be some difficult people to work with, but my patience and tolerance has dropped significantly. I recently left T2 consulting for a pre IPO tech firm that’ll go public this year that offered me 135k base + 80k RSUs / year. It’s in a role / function that I’m not too personally passionate about, but I like the culture / WLB and think I can switch teams down the line. However, I also received an offer (about 2 months after starting my new job) with BCG for their senior associate role. It’s going to be a pay cut for sure, but is it worth taking since I’m not passionate about my role rn? TIA!

I got an offer from another organization of almost double of my current ctc, my current organization offering me a Manager post in Abroad and asking me to withdraw my resign, it will take 4-6 month in visa processing, I am left with 30 days out of 90 days of my notice period.
