South of MLK you’re golden. North of MLK is improving (ie gentrification is in progress)
Thank you all for the additional details!
Yes it’s safe. North of MLK has some huge upside too if you’re going for a long play. My guess 5-7 years for that area to really take off.
Upside = Gentrification. Smh.
I live near Spinelli’s. It’s very nice here, and this area is generally getting nicer and nicer, with a lot of younger families moving in and houses being flipped. You probably don’t wanna live within a block of a main road though, because of the noise. Welcome to this area!
Thank you! I'm staying there with a friend for 1-2 months, and we're evaluating if this could be a permanent move for us. More likely for my friend than myself, but who knows what to expect? Really appreciate your comments!
Currently there’s one on birch with a pretty good price. The one in Dahlia is in prime park hill.
What’s wrong with 5 Points? Always feels pretty safe these days. But yes, Park Hill proper is very nice, and where you are specifically looking is just fine.
Uchi is delicious and perfectly overpriced. My kind of place.
Check out Cole and Whittier as well. I’ve lived in the area for 8 years and love it. Way more safe now than it used to be.
