Considering whether to hire a personal admissions consultant (Stacy Blackman, mba Mission, etc.) or do Applicant Lab to help with resume, essays and creating a cohesive story. Can people share their experiences who have used either service?
What are some common paths that people look at when exiting consulting? I joined a big 4 financial consulting practice after graduating college, and after 2 years I am looking to make a job switch but don’t even know what kind of roles to start looking for. I’ve herd of consulting firms paying for your MBA program ? Is this true? If so how does one go about this and Has anyone ever experienced this?
Anyone have experience with FDD at a B4 vs more of a specialized firm like A&M? I'd expect the latter to pay more, but curious if the deals worked on are actually different or there would be a diff vibe at an A&M tier. Trying to get out of audit, but not sure it's worth sticking in B4 since not feeling EY at the moment.
Do other big 4 have Executive Assistants? KPMG is saying they are doing what other big 4 models are using. Do the partners and MDs do their on admin work?
Any idea if large regional firm would let me go same day if giving notice that I am moving to a small firm? Or will they have me work the two weeks? They have let others go same day, but they were going to big 4.
Anyone work for a company that went public? What was you’re experience like and how does it compare to B4 in terms of hours, learning, etc.? Did you feel like it opened up opportunities after the fact?
Wharton Round 1 applicants, did you go through the Team Based Discussion on Zoom? I noticed the email just says “Interviews will be virtual with a second-year Wharton MBA Admissions Fellows”.
Ex-Consulant here that now works for a big name Real Estate Investment Trust. Saw on LinkedIn that EY has an America’s REIT Leader. Didn’t know that much attention was paid to the REIT space. Are there really consulting teams dedicated to the REIT space in the Big 4? Love working for a REIT and would love to jump back to consulting if there were teams dedicated to the industry. EY Deloitte Accenture PwC KPMG
Is there any B4 firm(except KPMG) that hire experienced associate in FDD? I am looking around the web and most seems to be looking for only seniors. (PwC does but practically Senior cuz they require 2 years of experience)
S1 in B4 deal advisory (FDD). any insight on how I might be able to transition to one of the other shops like A&M?
Has anyone who got accepted to start an MBA program this fall decided to defer yet? Yes or no? Why or why not? 👩🏽💻
How much are the hourly rates for the seasonal contractors at the B4 firms? Especially in tax. Thanks
I’m interviewing a senior tax associate position at BDO, 2 years prior big 4 experience. What salary should I be expecting? LCOL like 80~85 index.

My dad is a bit financially strict (borderline financially abusive) to my mom, so I want to set up a way to give her allowance money regularly on the DL. Would this be best done by setting up a credit card account for her? Or a separate checking account to which I deposit money every month? How would you do it? TIA!
