I have 10 yoe in Mainframe, ccctc -10L. I have below 2 offer:
infosys - 22.29L.
JPMorgan Chase - 27L, still negotiation going on (also have h1b visa if that matters in negotiation).
I am planning to join in JP Morgan. This is going to be my first company switch (working at onshore since last few years) so wanted to know below things:
1). Is 27L is good enough for 10 yoe resource ? I have seen people joining 24-25L at 4 yoe.
2). How is asset and wealth management (AWM)..? JP Morgan

A job has come up with a coorporate animal health company. I have applied and received a job offer. The job itself doesn't have much to do with veterinary medicine, but they do require you to have experience in veterinary medicine. Which I have 17 years of high level specialty/emergency medicine background.

In the beginning I requested 65k, I have been countered at 55k - how do I negotiate? This is a contract job, eventually moving to a full time position at the main company.

Product manager vs data scientist? PM pays good money, DS— since I don’t have a lot of experience not so much money there. But DS, is my passion and I’m considering a degree in DS now. I make 120k now if that helps.

At what level is it too late to leave PA and get a pay bump? International tax manager, M2, looking to leave PA for a remote industry job that isn't just preparing returns. Is it even worth staying in PA to make senior manager first?

Interviewed for S&O role and wanted to share. Recruiter told me to expect problem solving and stakeholder comm, behavioral and case type questions… It ended up being one 25-min interviewee-led case. I was surprised given all that I had read online about RRK and GCA and Googleyness and the pride Google has in its “unbiased”interview process… it felt like any other MBB interview where your case interviewer decides your fate… guess S&O is just like any consulting firm…

I need an advice/suggestion here. I got an offer from 2 different organisations and choose one among them (Role: Analyst) because of the culture and benefits. And the other offer has a good pay and good designation (Associate Consultant) rather than the one I choose. Now i feel very low due to this decision that I took. I feel like I have settled down for a lower package and a lower designation. Is there anything that I can do in the current organisation that I’ve joined at a week back

While going for an counter offer, should we inform them our expectations based current offer holding and if they are okay with the expectations then proceed with interview or clear all interviews and then tell them the offer n our expectations??
