Haven't collected my ID card from kpmg india since it was wfh . My last day is approaching soon . Will that be an issue while doing the last day proccesses/ submissions?

What are some of the companies which offer permanent WFH?

Im a contractor. Another firm has reached out for 100% remote work for basically a lateral move. I really like where I’m at right now. I’m remote but if I turn to FTE which is very possible later this year I would probably end up having to go in 1 or 2 days a week to NYC. My manager knows this is basically a dealbreaker for me. Should I let my manager know I have another firm reaching out but I really want to stay but I’d need to be a remote FTE? They mentioned several times I’m an asset.

Given that people seem to be fleeing NYC, possibly long term, do you all think that this will create a substantial shift in the status quo of the legal profession? If the financial institutions switch to work from home long term or limit the amount of their workers in the city, will NYC still need to be the center of the legal profession or do you see other legal markets growing?

The company KPMG was suppose to deduct my joining bonus and other things in final settlement. Last working day was last day of month , which means i got full salary.

I had my final round with KPMG GBS on 24/2 with the director where they made me an offer. The HR is yet to connect/send offer letter.
