Everything relevant that you have ‘actually done’, deserves a mention in the Resume.
However, here is the catch. There are two keywords - ‘relevance’, and ‘actually done’.
Udemy is a fairly well known online learning platform. Given that, it is highly likely that your interviewer/ potential employer would be aware of it. So you need not worry much about that.Including a Udemy course in your resume will have the benefits like
It will send a message to the employer that you are serious, hardworking and dedicated towards the job.
It will certainly give you an edge in terms of the knowledge and exposure that you have about the skill/job.
What you did in the course can become a major talking point during the personal interaction.
And yes, it will surely decorate your resume!
So if you have done a Udemy course that is relevant for a particular role, and you have done it properly, feel free to include it in your resume.

I work with an IT training company and I can say that certifications do help. Personally, I think Udemy has less value versus a computer institute as it's easier. Udemy adds value, but a computer institute course is considered more valuable in my opinion and based off what I see from offers my students are getting
